Shankho is a senior undergraduate at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed University), Patiala (India), pursuing Electronics & Communication Engineering with minors in Computer Science.

He is a skilled technologist having project-based development and research experience in Software Development, Robotics (ROS), AI/ML, IoT & RF engineering. He is a quick learner and a natural improviser who has applied this problem-solving skill to win multiple national-level hackathons, including the prestigious Smart India Hackathon (2019). He has actively contributed to open-source organizations, having participated successfully in Google Summer of Code (2021), Google Season of Docs (2020) with Automotive Grade Linux, a sub-organization of the Linux Foundation.

Currently, he is an undergraduate student researcher as a MITACS-GRI (2021) scholar at Theoretical and Experimental Epistemology Laboratory (TEEL), University of Waterloo, and also collaborates with High-Performance Real-Time Laboratory (HiPeRT), University of Modena and Reggio Emilia as a research intern. He concurrently leads the Data Acquisition department at Formula Student (FSAE) Team Fateh and works as a Student Engineer at Thapar Student Satellite Project (ThapSat). He previously has interned at the Center of Intelligent Robotics, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and Bennett University.
